A Safe Place to Heal and Breathe Again
You don't need to have all the words or know exactly what's wrong. If life feels too heavy to carry alone, you're in the right place.
Who I Serve
You’re not too much. You’re not alone. You’re not broken.
I work with neurodivergent and plural adults navigating complex trauma (cPTSD), dissociation (DID/OSDD), grief, shame, chronic self-abandonment, and those who have never quite felt like they belong in traditional spaces. This space is for you.
Healing doesn’t have to be conventional; It just has to work for you.
How I Can Help
If you’ve lived in survival mode for too long… If you’re tired of masking, making yourself small, losing yourself, exhausted, or feeling unseen, you deserve a safe enough space for you to heal.

Meet Your Guide in Healing
Hi, I’m Michelle, I’m really glad you’re here.
I am the founder of Creative Living Alliance. I am an Integrative Somatic-Informed EMDR trauma therapist.
FAQ: What You Might Want to Know
What can I expect from therapy with you?
Expect authenticity, warmth, and a space where you don’t have to edit yourself. I bring my full self into the room — informed by lived experience, clinical training, intuition, and a deep reverence for your story. Therapy with me is collaborative, creative, somatically-informed, and rooted in empowerment, not perfectionism.
Do you accept insurance?
I am a cash-pay-only provider. This means I do not bill insurance. Choosing to stay outside of insurance allows me to co-create your care rather than your care being dictated by insurance.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spots for those with financial need, prioritizing folks who are historically marginalized or under-resourced. Reach out if you need this—let’s talk about what’s accessible.
Do I need to have a diagnosis or big trauma to work with you?
Nope, and Self-Diagnosis is valid here. You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to deserve care. You might come with anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, identity shifts, chronic illness, neurodivergence, or just a deep desire to reconnect to your inner voice. All parts of you are welcome here.
Do you only work with people from marginalized communities?
I welcome all identities and backgrounds—but my practice especially holds space for those who have felt unseen, stigmatized, or out of place in traditional therapy settings.
What if I’ve had a bad experience with therapy before?
That’s okay. That makes sense. I get that. Therapy has a lot of harm in its history. I’m not here to fix you or mold you into something palatable. I’m here to witness, support, and help you reconnect to yourself and others. Your pace, your voice, your knowing—always honored. You are the expert of you.

Childhood Wounding Isn’t Just About What Happened
Childhood wounding is not only about the pain of what happened, but also about the love and safety that never came. Healing means grieving both.
When the Body and Mind Heal Together: EMDR & Somatics for Complex Trauma
Trauma isn’t just a memory in your mind; It’s an experience your body still carries. For many living with complex trauma, talk therapy alone can’t reach the places where survival got stored. This post explores how EMDR helps reprocess stuck memories and how somatic therapy supports the body’s wisdom, offering safety and choice along the way. Together, they create a path where body and mind can finally exhale in unison… not erasing the past, but making space for new ways of living and healing.
BPD Is Not a Personality Disorder — It’s Complex Trauma in Disguise
What if “Borderline Personality Disorder” isn’t a disorder at all, but a natural response to complex trauma? At Creative Living Alliance, we see BPD as relational and developmental wounds, not flaws. You’re not a disorder. You’re a survivor, and your survival is resilience in action.
“Trauma doesn’t just live in our mind. Our body remembers. Healing is a mind, body & spirit journey-to move from a place of pain and survival into truly living & connecting. We can finally breathe & come home to ourselves.”
