A Therapist Who Gets It
My approach honors your complexity, not as something to fix, but as something that makes sense given what you’ve lived through. Whether you’re navigating complex trauma, exploring neurodivergence, or experience dissociation, I work to create a space where all parts of you are welcome and respected.
Hi, I’m Michelle.
I’m glad you’re here, taking time to see whether working together might feel like a good fit.
I’m a trauma therapist who works relationally, with care for pacing, consent, and what your nervous system needs in the moment. I value creativity, curiosity, and the healing process that happens through safe enough, steady, connection.
I draw from somatic, EMDR, and creative approaches when they’re helpful and appropriate.
My Journey to This Work
My path to this work began in nursing. I saw firsthand how emotional wounds often live in the body, and how easily they can be missed. I witnessed the deep connection between emotional pain and physical healing, and how traditional approaches sometimes overlook the fuller story of what people have lived through.
I pursued my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on trauma therapy. Over time, I’ve dedicated my work to understanding how complex trauma shapes the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.
What continues to guide my work is the belief that people deserve to feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported as they navigate their healing process.
“Every person deserves to feel truly seen, understood and supported in their healing process.”
